Dr. Najib Harabi is currently Professor Emeritus of Economics at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Northwestern Switzerland. Previously he was Dean at the School of Business Administration at Al Akhawayn University, Ifrane Morocco (on leave). He held teaching and research positions at the universities of Zurich and St. Gallen (Switzerland).

Dr. Harabi was Visiting Scholar at Stanford University, University of California at Berkeley, University Paris-Dauphine, Free University in Brussels, at the European Centre for Economic Research in Mannheim, Germany, at the International Monetary Fund and at the World Bank (Washington D.C.). He also served as Deputy Research Director at the Swiss National Science Foundation.

Dr. Harabi worked as a consultant for the OECD, the World Bank, United Nations Development Program (UNDP), United Nations Conference for Trade and Development (UNCTAD), World International Property Organization (WIPO), Swiss Government (Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation; State Secretariat of Education and Research), Moroccan Government and United Kingdom Department of Health.

Dr. Harabi published extensively in the areas of Development Economics, Applied Microeconomics and Industrial Economics. He is member of numerous national and international professional organizations.
